And I can't wait!:D How does an N frame snub like this carry? Also how are those of you that carry one, doing it? In what kind of holster?

I normally CC IWB, but I am kinda thinking the width of the N frame cylinder may make that a no go.
I picked up some hot Buffalo Bore 45acp +P's, I'm assuming the scandium frame should handdle it fine? I hope.

I like the Galco SIL-126 for high ride OWB carry for my 629PC snub. Almost bought a Nightguard, but wanted adj sights. They are very nice guns, tho.

I owned one for a few months, really liked the idea of it and the look. It was very accurate with standard 45ACP ball ammo. The frame should handle the recoil, I wouldn't feed it a steady diet of the hot rounds. It was a bit wide for IWB so I carried it in an OWB holster. I didn't like carrying the full moon clips in my pocket, half moons I think would be better. I went back to carring my XD9SC and the 325NG became a casualty of the multiple caliber pistol purge my house went through. If only I could of had it converted to 45 Colt.

My 325NG is in my carry rotation. It's carried in a Don Hume J.I.T. Slide. Works perfectly for me. I carry hand loads using a 250gr LSWC, on top of WW231 powder.

I shoot a lot of .45ACP 230gr hardball, and it recoils more like a .38, than a .45. That frame does soak up a lot of recoil.

They carry just fine. I regularly carry a 4" 629, a Ruger SRA, and previously a 325 TR all in leather by Simply Rugged. All carry well, with the 325 being the most comfortable. Your Night Guard should be as fun as a big revolver can be. My 325 handled hot loads with aplomb. Have fun!

Here she is!!:D;)

I am loving it so far, not too big and decently light. As you can see I have already replaced the larger S&W labeled Pachmeyer Compac grips with some smaller non S&W labeled ones with Pac medallions on each side. The grips with the medallions are less sticky for grabbing on clothes, and are noticeably smaller all the way around.

The XS night sight is great, as is the the Cylinder and Slide "Extreme Duty" rear sight that comes on this revolver. It shoots nice and accurately with a smooth DA trigger pull, and I find the SA trigger pull to be really light, but it does the job if you are on target. I am debating bobbing the hammer, as this will mainly be a defensive gun.

The gun must not have been used much as it is in awesome shape, and has no wear or blemish on the finish in any way other than a normal turn line on the cylinder. It locks up very tight, and has zero end shake of any kind. I think I did ok, I grabbed it used for $650, and I see them go for $800 and up NIB.
I immediately bought a demooner tool and 20 more moon clips to go with the ones S&W supplied. I will buy another 50 or so from Ranch Products as soon as $ allows, as well as a nice leather holster. I am looking at Lobo Gunleather, and would appreciate any other suggestions for IWB\OWB holster from those in the know!
Thanks in advance!

Congrats!

I got the precursor of the Model 325NG, the Model 325PD (2.5").

S&W discontinued the Model 325PD, when they released the Night Guard series.
Only difference is the finish and sights.

I picked my S&W Model 325PD right after they got discontinued for $408 OTD.

I carry it in a Galco HighRide OWB holster.

You can also use .45GAP ammo in it. The shorter OAL of the .45GAP makes loading/reloading faster than with .45ACP ammo. About 1-2 secs faster, noticed this when I shot it in a steel plate competition.
