Hello, I decided to keep my 870 Home Defense and use it for a house gun. As in doing so, I wanted to mount a light on it, so I hit what I'm shooting at. I picked this light ( almost NIB) up off a fellow board member for 85.00 shipped with a Fobus holster for the light included with the light. The 870 mount came from ebay for 10.00 with like 6.00 S&H. I really didn't see a need to order the remote attachment for the light. It can be easily turned on/off with my index finger while holding the fore grip. The only draw back is that I have to let go of the momentary switch when pumping the action of the shotgun unless I have the light continously on. Either way, it is afairly simple but effective setup. I still need to get it out to the range to see how the light handles recoil when firing.

Nice pic, but I think that thing on the wall is a poor choice for a patterning board....

Oh No! I just painted that wall!

That's just to show how the light projects from the gun. I know the set-up isn't pretty, but it is effective for it's intended purpose.

I know, just funnin' with you. A good light is nigh essential for a HD piece, or complicated drills for a time of crisis as an alternative.
