Just thought I'd post a pix of my new addition to my BP shooting machines

3rd Model Dragoon. It shoots straight and locks up tight.

I'm very happy!

Probably an Armi San Marco, right? They have a tight twist for conicals and make great guns for hunting hogs and deer with. Measure the chambers and bore and see if the Kaido 255 conical would be a drop in. If not, the 240s should work as is.

swathdiver, Yes it's an ASM. Thanks for the suggestions on the conicals. I'd like to try them but I'm haaving a hard time trying to find them in the area I live. I might just have to buy a mold and fire up the lead pot.

What's the year of manufacture on it?

I was told mid 80's. Is there somewhere I can track an ASM serial number for age?

Somewhere on the frame will be two letters inside of a square or roman numerals. They refer to Italian date codes. Post them and we can tell you.

Ahhhh! It has an "AU" in a square so I guess it was made in 1989!

I really liked my Uberti Dragoons, should have kept one but had to go. Working on a Walker and while fun to shoot, not as practical as the Dragoon.
