I'm thinking of getting a small 9mm for CCW. How'z about some nice pics of some small 9mms. I like the size of the sig 232s and Bersa 380s. Any 9mms like these?

This is my favorite, alittle pricey but well worth it.

I think the finest COMPACT 9mm on the market is the S&W 3913 ...

... I like it so much that I own three of them ...

... It was only lack of funds that prevented me from buying a fourth. You can't go wrong with a 3913 -- it's accurate & reliable and about the smallest 9mm compact there is. Anything smaller, starts entering into the sub-compact class.

Here's a photo for size comparison ...

... the 3913 is second from the top.

My current 9mm's - well, my 9x19's .. are not compact .. they are BHP or P95. I do tho have the KT P3AT which is 9x17 .. that's pretty damn small!

Come back in, I hope not too long .. and I should have an example of the new Rohrbaugh .... which seems so far to be well up there with the compact parabellums.. at a price tho!

The P3AT .. tho not 9mm parabellum ... it is real tiny .....

Oops forgot ... other sub-parabellums of course ...... the Thunder ... nice 9x17 ....

And then including 9x18 .. of course the Mak ... another great compact IMO .....

Springfield XD-9 Subcompact. A little thicker than my Bersa .380, but overall, a nicer gun, and not much more difficult to conceal, even with a tucked in shirt.

itgoesboom....not only should you carry enough gun, but you should also thing about carrying enough KNIFE!!..:D :D :D :neener:

Any of the Kahr K,P,MK or PM series pistols would be in the size range you want.
Here is my Kahr PM9.

Rohrbaugh also makes a small, light 9 mm pistol. Here is a picture of Blackhawk's R-9S that I've been drooling over, I want one of these myself.

arinvolvo,

LOL, that knife is currently doing duty untill I can get my Benchmade/Emerson CQC7 sharpened and have the belt clip bent back into shape.

Plus, it just goes better in that photo, the Emerson is bigger than the gun.

Top: Smith & Wesson 3913 - one of the finest all-around pistols around.
Botton: Smith & Wesson Chief's Special 9, a 20oz reliable, accurate subcompact.

Marshall,

I have a 6906 that was bought from KY Imports for @ $320 all said and done. It was a used police trade in that had a few bumps around it but with pristine internals that looked like it was shot very little. The 6946 I got in a trade for a Beretta from a co-worker. It has some holster wear marks, but the internals are nicer than the 6906 I got. Both variations and more are easily found at KY Imports and other auction and wholesale sites for between $250-400 used. Good luck! Mike

Does anyone have anymore info on the Rohrbaugh 9mm..it looks pretty trick.and I have seen the website..but any range reports, price range..opinions..thanks

NJ3, the MK9 is more of a sub-compact than a compact. The R-9S is even smaller and I would consider it the ultimate CCW to own -- why carry a .380 when you can carry a 9mm in the same size gun. Speaking of which ...

eerw, the Rohrbaugh has been discussed in this forum a number of times -- just search the past threads to read more about it.
