Picture024.jpg My son is too young to shoot a rifle yet, but he's not too young to put to work reloading. Here he's seating bullets in 7.5 Swiss cases for his dad. Keeps him busy and from messing up my workshop.

Nice work Oleg, and cute kid too.

I don't think that madmike has to worry too much about his daughters first date.

This is my little girl's rifle, she's 20: :
And next you're going to say you live in michigan, right?
:D
No, MD, but I AM a state hunter ed instructor and NRA RSO instructor.
We've got to start training the next generation of shooters. ;)

I'll edit my profile . . .

Let's print it

Let's post it in every gov school in the country.
We will need lots of extra copies for all the tear downs by panicked teachers and admins.

jkswiss,

I've watched that girl shoot. She is more responsible than most children four or five years older. And her father does watch her carefully, even if he's helping other people correct their shooting.

I like it :D

My son has been known to scold people with poor weapons safety now and again.

Can I buy one of those a walmart? My son would love one and so would I. Teach resonsibility at a young age and they will grow up just fine that's what I did.

I don't want lots of daughters, but I hope if I have one she will be that cute and not want a pink gun. She'll hopefully want one that hides better in the woods or under clothing. :neener: :uhoh: :D  I hope my daughter is similar to me, but without my mistakes.

I agree that I feel bad for the first boy to break her heart.

Great posters Oleg. I like the message.

Gus,

I'd think a well-armed girl would show MORE restraint than someon ewho'd not been taught self-control, respect for the self-determination and free will of others. That said, I have had experience with an exception to that expectation a while back...but it was non-violent.

Yes, she shoots .22 and now 5.56, and is decently accurate. She's been shooting rifle and archery since age 4, though admittedly she mostly just pulled the trigger back then, and shot stuffed toys with arrows from 5 yards. But it got her familiar and comfortable.

We're also working on her kung fu and blade fighting.

Here she is again. The double .410 is still too big for her. But in another 2-3 years...

>"Mom is a combat photographer who did Basic at age 35. Mom wants her back at 11. If I were you, I'd do it."<

Is this along the lines of the "Never mind the dog..." stickers?

"You don't have to worry about me, boy. I ain't gonna do nuthin' to ya. But her mother... "
