The only 586 picture I have. (I sold the gun some time back...) Not a PC gun, I know. It's an old 586 no dash, with an 8 3/8" tube, target stocks, and a Trashco pistol scope. The knife is a 5" Corkum Shobu.

Carbon - can't oblige re 586 but you say ''any blued S&W's'' ..... OK then . how about these two N frames .. both M27-2 but one in 5" and other 8 3/8"

Both for me - items of exquisite beauty. Oh and also - M28-2 Highway Patrolman .. tho a ''duller'' bluing - and has CT grips also.

Not the greatest pic, and the flashlight was added for... well anyway it's not a carry package

The gun looks much better with the orginal target grips but I can't find a pic with them on. Oh yeah it's a mid 80's 586 (no dash).

Don't have a 586, but these are the best examples of S&W blue that I have.

38-44HD made in 1934.

Model 29 made in 1961. Yes, Dirty Harry got me into S&W revolvers

Those are Ahrends, the wood is called Moradillo.

I got them from www.pickagrip.com

Ahrends also makes them in some very nice Cocobolo, as on this M15:
