Hi,

I'm visiting Arizona for the first time and was wondering where you guys recommend to go shoot in Phoenix and Sedona. And any other things to see would be appreciated.

Scottsdale Gun Club, Ben Avery Range, Rio Salado Shooting Range are all good places to shoot in the Phoenix area, don't know about Sedona.

If you're around Phoenix on a Friday, Shooter's World has ladies day, where if you are with a lady they get free gun rental (any handgun they want), and free instruction as well as free range time. Only cost is the rounds you use.

West side of Phoenix, I'd recommend Shooter's World. Indoor range, its where I shoot. They have a daily rate but if you are going to shoot more than one day get a monthly membership for $15 and $5 each additional person.

if you want to experience a well run, large shooting range, go to ben avery. exit 223 (easy to remember) on interstate 17 just west of the freeway. open to the public.

no, you can't. if you need to rent a firearm, shooter's world would probably be a better way to go.

Heh. Ben Avery is just a field of dirt. You pay $7 to shoot across it into more dirt. I wouldn't advise making a special stop unless you just need to squeeze off a few rounds.
