It's the watershed areas that like to regulate this kind of thing. Unfortunately, WA doesn't have a sweeping general rule that it is OK to shoot in forests. You will rarely know if it is legal to shoot in a wooded area without doing a little research. There is no rhyme or reason to it, as far as I can tell.Thanks guys. I hope that it isn't too difficult, as one person mentioned. Are laws any different in WA? I was under the impression that all national forest land was open to shooting (away from roads, buildings, trails, campgrounds, etc)?
