Speaking of trolling;

Guys, can we please drop this and get it back on The High Road?

Thank you.

I don't understand why you guys are throwing down the gauntlet. Geez, Drjones just said he found his experience with the PGO more pleasant than he thought it would be. You guys are replying like he said he could best you in a shoot-out. I also own a PGO and my experience with it on the range has convinced me it is an appropriate weapon for me for defense in my small home -- better than the pistol I own, in fact. I'm a big guy, so recoil control isn't a problem. And I expect that if I use it in my home, the target will be within 25 feet, and I can handle that with no problem. But I see no reason to accept a challenge from a very experienced shotgunner that can outshoot me. What's the point? I wouldn't use it to shoot birds or whatever you call those clay things.

Hey Drjones, glad you like your shotgun. I have never tried one of those, but have been thinking about trying one out. Your post kind of helped me look into it a bit further. I see Knoxx makes a breaching grip that is supposed to absorb much of the recoil. Might be fun in one of those IDPA type fun shoots at the club I belong to, just to see how I could do with it. Yeah, that's it, a pistol grip shotgun match. :) Anyway, enjoy your new gun.

I have done my own comparison of pistol grip from the hip and using a full stock shoulder mounted. The shoulder mounted full stock won each time.

I don't understand why you are resurrecting a 4 year old post to complain about it. :rolleyes: No offense, but we've been up this topic plenty of times in the 4 years since and nothing has really changed.
