Can someone identify this pistol?

plasti blaster 3000 by Lego?

I think the real question should be who owns the sausage fingers that are as wide as they are long?

Somebody with hands like that does not need personal protection.

:what:

It is a prop gun made up by a movie supply house for, I believe, the Movie "Red Heat"

The pistol does not exsist in the real world.

I belive this is a closeup of the stunt pistol used in one episode of the Sopranos.
Do I remember right, and it was said to use Propane for the muzzle flash?

It was the gun (and the scene) in which Veto shot Jackie Aprile Jr. I just watched this scene and replayed it in slow motion. Probably not a real gun. Here's another view:

HA! When I saw those fat fiingers around that gun in the first pic, the first thing I thought of was Vito! And BAM! There it is!

A propane powered prop pistol. If you saw the episode, there was no slide action, just a little muzzle flash.

What a porker. I'm surprise he can get his finger between the trigger and guard.

I met the guy that played Vito once after his weight loss... he's a helluva lot smaller than he used to be, especially in person!

What would their motivation be to have a propane powered prop pistol when there are almost certainly dozens of Glocks and Berettas and the like lying around the Soprano prop house? -It Looks cool?

Oh, how many times I've wondered that same thing!

Using a real gun instead of a movie prop is foolish and has caused actors' deaths. There was one actor years ago from a soap opera who was joking around on the set and put a gun containing blanks to his head and pulled the trigger blasting a peice of skull fatally into his brain. Let's not forget Brandon Lee. For those of you who don't know he died by being shot with a revolver loaded with blanks but whoever loaded the blanks forgot to remove the dummy bullets (heads) inserted earlier for a frontal close-up of the revolver.
