Hi everyone,
I'm having a very annoying problem that I can't solve. Does anyone out there make a good 2 piece weaver (pictatinny) style base for the Remington 700 that *doesn't* have any taper (no additional MOA) and is low profile? Also, it needs to work with ARMS quick detach rings. This means that the Leupold Mark4 base, which would have been perfect, won't work because the slots are too narrow! Is there a solution? Badger ordnance doesn't make untapered bases, and Smith only offers bases with additional thickness built in, which won't allow me to mount my scope as low as I want. Thanks in advance for any help.
