All I need to do now is set the primer stop and powder measure. I ran into a big wall!!!!!
I'm trying to get the primer depth just right, I'm almost flush when I realize the return spring ( the one wraped around the spent primer tube) is preventing the shellplate from going any lower thus preventing a deeper primer seat, regardless of how much I shorten the primer stop.
I was considering cutting a coil of the return spring, so i got out my heavy duty wire cutters. Not a scratch on the return spring, just a dent in my wire cutters!!
I was also considering taking out the return spring all together.
Has anyone else ran into this problem?? What did you do about it??
I'm loading .45acp btw. Thanks all
