Plinkin' with .22s

As a fellow that has been shootin' Grampa's .22 since the 1960's I have to put in a vote for the Remington 514. Crappy sheet metal trigger, no frills and the only thing "tacticool" about Grampa's .22 is the Ivory front bead sight. I don't know if he paid extra or had it put on later but he was an extremely frugal man, so he must have valued it. I know I do.

Every Saturday when I head out to the range, I always end up shooting my Ruger 22/45. This is a very nice 22 semi-auto, Ruger is king of the 22's if you ask me.:p I keep a federal bulk pack (550) rounds in my range bag, every outing I end up shooting 75 rounds or so, empty pop cans and just plain o'le targets. Its a lot of fun for not much money.:D
