Took my PM9 to the range this morning. Fed it 3 different types of ammo - CCI/Blazer 115 gr. FMJ, Winchester Whitebox 115 gr. FMJ, Speer GoldDots 124 gr. +P and Federal Premium +P EFMJ. 124 gr. Not one malfunction in over 200 rounds.

The PM9 performed very well. Pretty accurate for having a short barrel. It is definitely a keeper and will be my summer ccw.

I've been thinking about a PM9 but was curious if they'd solved those reliability issues I'd read about last year...

Ditto what 10-ring said.

I love my Kahr K9elite98.

Would like the PM9 but have read too many nightmares.
If it turned out as reliable as my K9, I'd get it in a heartbeat.

100 rounds and counting

I just passed the 1000 round mark with my PM9. Out of those 1000 rounds I've had 2 FTFs because the magazine was not seated all the way (my fault). I had problems early on with some HP Gold Dots. They just didn't seem to feed well. All in all the gun has been very reliable. Furthermore, it's extremely accurate, which surprises me considering its size. Very pleased with the PM9.

Hey FunYet, glad to hear about your PM9.
That is the highest round count I have heard of so far.
I just passed 300rds in mine and I can't get enough of shooting this gun!

txgolfer45,
I agree with you, the PM9 is a keeper.

I have a PM9 also, but mine has been less than perfect.

Even after 500 rounds mine would still FTF. I sent it back to Kahr and after they had it for 6 weeks, they did some fluff and buff on it, I finally got it back. So I took it to the range and fired a box of Gold Dots though it and had no FTF. But I noticed the front sight is now loose, so back to Kahr it goes.

I do like the PM9 and enjoy shooting it so I'm not going to give up on it. I am determined to keep the PM9. But the factory has had it longer than I have.

I also got a good deal on a new Kahr K40 Elite, and it has been perfect so far.
