P3AT. Tried the PM9, didnt ride to well in my jeans (although it was comfortable in a jacket pocket).

Wheelguns are too thick, however, like the PM9, they ride pretty easily in a jacket pocket.

I've been meaning to pick up a P3AT for a while now. I dont like the NY to LA triggerpull, and although I think thats what kept me from picking one up, I think I could get by that.

You have to dress around the gun sometimes.

Its great if you can. If I could dress like "Snoop Dawg" I could carry my Uzi. I've a friend that's an uber geek -- carries a Walther P99 in cargo pocket pants with a book in the pocket on the other thigh to balance things out, a cell phone on one hip and a calculator on the other, he looks like a total dork, but I'll admit a well armed dork. Won't work for me though.

I have both an MK9 elite and P3AT. I can carry the Kahr in just about any Jeans, cargo pants, dickies, etc. If I am wearing thin dress pants, I have to carry the Keltec. All guns have their own Desantis Nemesis holsters, even my Makarov that I'll carry out in the garage sometimes. I am 5'8 200lb, I couldn't see pocket carrying anything thicker, taller, longer or heavier than my MK9.

P3AT

I carry a P3AT in the 380. It has never once failed to fire. I make pocket holsters for them for gun shops and it is so light that sometimes you forget that it is in your pocket. With my holster you will not eject the magazine. If anyone is interested in one contact me.

McGunner:

As far as having 9mm +P in the pocket, I keep reading about Kel-Tec P11 using +P ammo, but have read very little ballistic information on this gun except one article a number of years ago in Combat Handguns that tested the P11 with 115 gr. Cor-bon +P and the average energy was 320 FPE. That is hardly +P performance out of 9mm. Are you referring to handloads?

CZ- 2075 rami in 9mm or if your stuck on a .380, Sig,or a walther PPK.

ABBOBERG, I'm not sure what your point is, but maybe this can help.

These are "Speer 9mm 124 gr +p GDHP for Short Barrel"
gelatin tests from a Glock 26 that has a barrel length close to the P-11's.

Well, I voted for the P3AT, but the ULTIAMTE pocket gun is a Smith Airweight snubbie.

Only a Keltec P38T will fit in my tight jeans (even my wife has no clue when I carry it). Everything else is too heavy...too big...too bulky...difficult to extract and shouts, "Hey, look, I have a gun in my pocket!" Now, if and when an overcoat/raincoat/jacket is worn, which is often the case in rainy Washington State, I would only consider the Taurus Millennium Pro PT145. Both weapons exclusively chambered with Corbon DPX.

P3AT....

Let me know when someone makes something lighter and smaller. Till then I will tote the KT.

Kel-tec PF9

I carry the new Kel-Tec PF9. It's a single stack 9mm with Glaser Pow'RBall ammo. The gun is picky about the ammo you use. It doesn't like anything that doesn't have a point on it. This solves loading problems and is a deadly round. The gun weighs 12 oz. empty.

My PF-9 feeds everything!

You maybe limp wristing. Remeber, the PF-9 is a very light pistol and needs a very firm grip.

What is "Glaser Pow'RBall ammo"?

Usually carry a Colt Mustang or Mustang Pocketlite. Once in a while the P3AT.

6.4 grains Unique behind a Hornady XTP 115 grain JHP. I get 1260fps/410 ft lbs and it's safe, but pushing limits I reckon. Out of my P85 Ruger I get 1330/440 or there abouts IIRC.

This is a maximum load in the Speer #11 manual. Approach with caution.
