Pocket carry

Taurus 85UL in an Uncle Mike's #3. When I decided to get serious about cc for every day; I never considered anything else but a 2" snubbie in a pocket holster.

On vacation a couple of weeks ago and had it with me everywhere. Wore nothing but t-shirts and khaki shorts. Sometimes forgot it was even there.

I pocket carry a S&W 642 in a Mika pocket holster. It is very comforatable and convenient, the Mika holster does a great job of breaking up the outline of the gun, it just looks like I have a wallet in my pocket.

I like to pocket carry mostly in warm weather. I don't like to wear untucked shirts any time. I put my Kahr K40 in a pocket holster and put it in my pocket. Nothing else goes in to that pocket ever. While the gun is in there.
I'll admit the k40 is a little heavy for that. But that's what I have and that is what I use.
Or I open carry. In cool weather I use IWB and I have a light extra shirt or jacket over the Gun for CPL/CCW.

Works for me.

642 in pocket holster in right front pocket. Bianchi speed strip in a knife pocket holster and Spyderco Endura 4 loose in left pocket. If after dark, Surefire G2 tactical light in nylon belt hoster at 4 o'clock. TN HCP in ID case in left rear pocket. Works in every pair of pants, jeans and shorts that I own!

When I don't carry on the waistband, I carry a Model 60 in a Galco in my right front pocket. When I'm in a vehicle, the Model 60 is not in my pocket but within reach.

When not carrying waistband in cool weather and winter, I prefer to carry in a jacket or vest pocket, weapon is Model 60 or Walther PP.
