POF Rebel 22

Anybody have one of these? I fell in love with one yesterday and had them put it behind the counter for me. I’m supposed to go pick it up early next week, but the reviews I am seeing are far from positive. Just curious if anybody here has one. This little guy seems to be the perfect solution for shooting small vermin encountered while pig hunting at night. Small enough to tote around in addition to a larger caliber rifle and more accurate than a smaller pistol. If it isn’t any more reliable than the online reviews suggest then I am probably not going to get it though. Anybody have a positive experience with one.

No experience with one but it's an interesting looking pistol and it uses Ruger 10/22 mags so that's a big plus. I have to say though that it seems sort of big, a little bit on the heavy side, and kind of pricey for a .22 plinker. For that kind of money I would probably go with a Ruger Mk.IV Target or Mk.IV 22/45 Lite.

It’s actually tiny and extremely light in the hands. That’s what I loved about it. I think I’m going to get it regardless of the reviews. I’ll give it a valiant effort.

Yeah. I suppose I’m gonna take one for the ol team here and be a guinea pig. Talked to a buddy whom owns a fairly large gun store tonight. He’s only sold one and the customer wasn’t happy with it. He suggested a Ruger 10/22 Charger, but that wouldn’t give me the rail space to mount my clip on thermal in front of a standard optic.
I doubled down on POF and had them put back a POF Rogue Rifle in 308 for me as well. That’s going to make a heck of a lightweight night hunting combo as long as the quality is solid.

Kinda like a 10/22 pistol analog of an AR pistol.

Got off work this morning and I HAD to get it all set up and put a few rounds through it. First ten rounds through it were flawless. I’ll wring it out for real when I’m off next week.

Put fifty round of Armscor cheap stuff through my Rebel before work tonight. Flawless through fifty rounds. Hopefully that trend continues. Most people seemed to be having issues with them straight out of the box. This little guy is extremely fun to shoot and I can see it becoming one of my favorite firearms.
