Anybody here running a 6mm Creedmoor AR?

Yup - that's the easiest trick for balance, hanging a big ol' fat can out front! And the moment of inertia does a nice job slowing muzzle climb, almost making up for the increase in recoil over a brake.

Well, my dilemma has been solved. A buddy of mine who owns a gun store out of state was able to order me a POF Revolution DI for about the same money as the Prescott. It’s 1.6 lbs heavier than the Prescott, but that’s still a LOT lighter than any competitors. I started buying ammo today.
I thought the Prescott was their only 6 creed offering...

Picked up my POF today. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to get it zeroed with the thermal scope tomorrow and maybe I’ll get a chance to shoot a few coyotes this week.

Finally got to the range this morning. Had several rifles that had either new barrels or new scopes and one new rifle. All needed to be zeroed and I was short on time, so all these rifles got was a quick zero.
That said, this POF shows some promise. I think it is going to be a 1 MOA rifle with the right load. Fired twenty rounds total and had no malfunctions of any kind. Put several rounds on a 12”x12” steel plate at 400 yards. Never missed at 400 and that’s a long poke for a thermal scope in my opinion. Not saying it can’t be done regularly with practice, but I’ve never shot thermals much past 200 yards mostly because my plates don’t generally show up well enough to hit them. They kinda blend into the berm when it’s warm outside.

We’ll see how it holds up long term, but I was prepared to be disappointed this morning and I wasn’t.
