HOUSTON -- Six men were arrested in the middle of an overnight crime spree in southwest Houston, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Alief Clodine at West Center Blvd.

Houston police said they showed up as the men were trying to rob a gas station on Alief Clodine near West Center Boulevard Tuesday night.

They said the men had just come from an attempted home invasion and the homeowner called police with a description of their vehicles.

Police spotted the vehicles at the Phillips 66 Gas Station.

Police said the men were armed with automatic weapons, pistols and a shotgun.
 :what:
A seventh man was also arrested when he arrived at the scene and tried to provide an alibi for one of the suspects.

While police were interviewing him, they said they found four bags of cocaine in his sock.

The suspects were driving a Jeep and a truck which police said were both were stolen earlier in the night.

This isn't a highroad worthy story just because the criminals used firearms.

What discussion could promote the responsible use of firearms?

Yup. Random crime story.

Can't see a clear S&T discussion coming out of it either, so Closed.
