Portable shooting benches?

I'm interested in building or eventually buying a portable shooting bench. In particular, I'd like to know of experiences with the swiveling tripod-type benches made by DOA Tactical, Coyote Jakes, and The Big Shooter.

How sturdy, how steady, and what weight capacity? Is there slop at the table top and collar junction on these? How do they compare with each other, and against those with screw-in legs? Thanks for your thoughts.

This is one of the better ones. It is big, heavy and comfortable.

As long as it isn't set up on a peat bog, it is stable.

That's the style I was curious about, and I'm glad to hear it's stable. That one's now made by one of Midway USA's companies. It is much less expensive than it used to be, but now I wonder about its quality.
