Portable steel silhouette hanger. Need ideas.

Looking for ideas for a home made steel silhouette target hanger that I can haul in my car. Going to use some old firehose I think to hang it. Need some ideas for the frame. I have an idea but I'm sure some of you guys out there have better ideas.

3x steel fenceposts. cut one off 3-4' it becomes the top. they were the cheapest strongest option I saw for this use.
drill a hole in each end of the short one. put a U bolt in the holes, large enough to slide over another post.

to use you drive in the other two upside down, the top piece slides down over and holds everything rigid. Since you are not driving the blades into the ground they come out easily enough when you are done. If you want a paper target, wood or cardboard can be tied to the posts.

Your fire hose to hold the target wold have a hole in it to slide over the upright posts as well. I use chain with another couple U bolts.

When not in use, 3 fence posts don't take much space.

use the cheap sawhorse brackets from home depot ($6) and a couple 2x4's to make a simple frame. hang the steel from the sawhorse crossmember via chains, done deal, cheap and easy.

I took some old steel shelving pieces and welded them together to make frames. Probably not the most compact thing to move around but fairly lightweight and the best part...free. I've tried the rubber tie down straps to hang them from but I'm thinking of switching to something else.

What sort of steel are you hanging? How are you going to use it?

Some of the best ones I've seen are simple rebar.

Short 't' cross bar near the top to hang the steel (steel was suspended on some rubber). At the bottom, some square tubing welded on to go over square stock at the base.

When broken down, it would be easy to stuff in a trunk or back seat.

It is a 66% IPSC torso made from 3/8 AR500. Was thinking of having it hang from some old fire hose looped around something else so it could swing front to back. Also thinking it needs to be fairly tight to keep it from twisting side to side.
