Ammoman has some Portuguese FMJ 7.62x39 up for sale. Thinking about ordering a crate, any experience with this ammo would be appreciated.

I am going to pick up a Yugo SKS tomorrow (please, I don't want this to turn into another SKS thread, let's keep it on the ammo, I'll post pics when I get the rifle :) ). I might order the Yugo surplus ammo because it's sort of fitting, and it comes with free stripper clips. I assume it's corrosive stuff?

Thanks!

First, current wisdom places the origin of that ammo as Iranian, not Portuguese.
I found it reliable, but very dirty and not very accurate.

Not Iranian but maybe Indian or Pakistani.
Ammoman isn't showing a headstamp and the packaging doesn't look like Portugese FNM so it is anybodies guess what this stuff is.

I compared it to 2 different 100% Iranian 7.62x39s in my collection. They all match. I'm 99% sure it's Iranian.
I welcome any info either way.
