I am trying to find a possum hollow kwick case trimmer for a .223 but every where I look it is sold out. I had been using the lee trimmer with the gauge but I dropped it and bent the end. Does one work better than the other one?
I think the Kwick Trim is a lot better. I really like that you can adjust the cutting depth, though it's a bit of a pain to do. It's as fast or faster than the Lee.
You really have to use the Kwick Trim with the power adapter or it's nearly useless. No need for a shell holder either, but it's rough on your fingers. I use leather gloves to prevent blisters, and I can say that my finger strength has gotten noticeably better, for whatever that may be worth.
The .223 Kwick Trim is very hard to find for some reason. Search every online source you can think of, and contact Possum Hollow direct. I found one at Grafs a couple months ago just out of sheer luck, but they're gone now. Midway's been out of stock forever.
