A E German Mak in 9x18, CZ70 in 32ACP, Manhurin Walther PPs, one in 32ACP, one in 22LR. I don't know why I bought these. 9x18 and 32ACP aren't cheap. They aren't good self defense rounds. These aren't good target guns. The Mak and PPs weren't at all cheap. They are too big and heavy for pocket carry unlike the 642 revolver. For IWB carry, I'd rather carry something more powerful, like my 45ACP Colt CCO. They really have no purpose. They are fun though.

For "Just in Case".

I went to the range one day, just plinking. I had this 870 with me. Once I was done, and was headed towards the front gate, I drove by the skeet range. I saw a range buddy there shooting with 3 other old timers. I stopped to shoot the breeze with them. They asked me if I'd like to try shooting skeet. I said yes. They asked me if I had a shotgun with me. I said yes. I went to the truck and retrieved the howitzer. The look on their faces when I pulled it out of it's case was priceless. Like I'd dropped my pants at a church social.

I love my USP Tactical despite the fact I don't have a permit to own a silencer, however its on the list of things to do before I die.

Military Gun Supply/ WiseLite Arms DP-28 semiauto. And I was still in college when I bought it last year!

Vaarock, I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!

How's that one run for you? I heard they've had problems that they've been working out over its production run.

This is the best thread ever!

Unfortunately I sold my most "for no good reason" gun so I can't post a photo; a .460 Weatherby Magnum (do you have any idea how much that ammo costs?).

I almost broke even...

Just picked up a second, this one a Soviet 1946.

Only safe in Condition 3, ball ammo tends to go through 16" of gelatin AND keep on going, therefore limiting its usefulness, but man...is that muzzleblast and "BLAM!" fun. :D

What... what the... $)(#&$^ :scrutiny: :what:

That's a $3,000 gun!

Expensive guns X college = i

I'm lucky I can afford a Mosin! :uhoh:

It was originally 28" from the Remington factory. I had Scattergun Technologies cut it to 26" to match the extended magazine. A few years later I sent them an 18.5" barrel and had them cut it to just over 18" to match another extended mag.

It's a little more practical. :p

It's a $2500 gun, and I "lucked out" and got the twelveth one ever made, by the guy that got fired by the company shortly thereafter. It needs about a half dozen upgrades, which it's currently on the other side of the country for.

And at seventy hours of work a week, times four months of saving, it's not *that* hard to afford. I wanted the '41 Johnson at auction locally I was initially saving up for, but all the old guys with thicker wallets outbid me and all I ended up getting at the time was an ugly green M1903.

This one serves no purpose other than my having wanted one since going "over there."

Only pic I have of it at the moment taken for the BATFE thread. I saw this SW40VE sitting in the counter on sale. $259.00 for a brand new Smith :what: . I picked it up felt good in my hand, pointed natural, held 14 rounds of .40S&W, and I had the cash in my pocket (I had no intention of buying a gun that day). I dont use it for HD and I would never carry it. the heavy trigger makes it a poor range gun. Its there just because.
