...But, here's my only 1911 so far... An Auto Ordnance GI .45 that I bought sometime last year. Nothing special, but it's accurate and it works. When I get another 1911 that's nicer to look at, I'll be back to post it.

Still gotta open up the ejection port and do some checkering. Forgive the skateboard tape on the front strap.
This is a LW Commander I built in 1975 on an AR Sales frame and an Essex slide. The barrel is a 5" Colt.
I have at least 12,000 rounds through it and the frame has a small crack. Koa grips carved by yours truly. Real nice carry gun.
