Love the pictures I'm seeing (H&K being my favorite) but ouch:eek: the poor deer! Couldn't we see the guns WITHOUT the corpse? I didn't need to see that...:( :uhoh: :what:

I believe the technical term for a dead bleeding deer body would be carcass, not corpse. That picture kind of bothered me, too. The 1911 was so small in it I had a hard time seeing it.;)

Here's a rather poor pic of one of mine.

No, I'm not sorry, and yes, I could have resisted.

What, no Hi-Point's? :p

Wasn't 444 getting one in any day now?

... one day will get a digital camera or maybe just scan in a film photo of my combat commander with wraparound cherrywood grips

Here's a few of mine. :)

Colt Defender - my EDC.

Stock bare-bones Colt Commander - currently at the gunsmith for major reworking to become my EDC:

And last but not least, just a rear portion shot of a Springfield Armory full-sized 1911 - they called it their "Defender" model a few years ago, not to be confused with Colt's chopped down Defender:

This was made by the Les Baer era Springfield Custon Shop ("86-88?) for an American Handgunner article about the custom shop. I've owned it for about 14yrs. I've been shooting IPSC with it for about 12yrs. It has about 60,000rds through it.

Colt Custom Shop

Here's a little beauty I picked up a few weeks ago. I've yet to see one prettier.

The real firepower:

Ruger Blackhawk Convertible with .45 ACP cylinder (and .45 Colt cylinder sitting to the side).

...and nary a 1911 in sight, how's that for variety?
