Hello Hi Road
Regarding powder charge adjustments for a shorter barrel. I want to load 45 ACP
for my Glock 30 / 3.8" barrel. The load data I typically find are for 5" barrels.

Question is........load about 10 @ min recommend grains, chrono and adjust for desired PF? Thanks!

You will not get the same speed and cannot add enough powder to make the speed up, of the longer barrel. Chamber pressure is your limitation for speed.

Max chamber pressure occurs somewhere around 1/2-1” of bullet travel for pistols, so there really is no tangible or practical barrel length which allows manipulation of max pressure by barrel length.

Your rounds will simply be slower than the book values, and that’s fine. The load development process follows the same boundaries, regardless of barrel length.
