I'd keep on using the Unique for lead and definitely try some power pistol for the 125 gr jacketed bullets. I really like PP for this bullet style. It meters great and gives very accurate results in my guns....I like it so much I have 8lbs of it and about 4500 jacketed 125's on my bench right now.LOL.

It all comes down to what shoots well in your gun . whot I use may not shoot well in your gun or another one just like it.

Get some Power Pistol. Nice big flash at the muzzle!
Not very pronounced in broad daylight, but spectacular indoors and in low light.

Power Pistol is a versatile powder with some pop and flash to it, I'm experimenting with AA #7/125s, less pop and flash but I'm still on the learning curve with it. Sierra V lists AA #7 as their target load powder/125s for those who are interested.

Did some night shooting last night with copious amounts of 2400, lots of flash and blast, and a neighbor who lives over a 1/4 mile away phoned and asked what I was shooting. Gotta love it. :)

i prefer 2400 in my .357 magnums, but ive also used H110 and IMR 4227 with good sucess.

I have used Power Pistol in 40 Cal. It has a lot of flash and bang but it does burn clean. Think I might go back to W231 or AA powders.
Thanks

Try AA#7. I use it in 9mm, 357 mag, 40 SW, 44 special, 44 mag, and 45 acp. It meters well and burns clean.

Well thanks for nothin! ;)

Now I'm going to have to go out and buy a pound of 2400 to see for myself.
