I wanted an antler powder measure to go with my new rifle. I was just going to buy one but those are expensive especially for the nice ones so I dug through my stash and found this.
It wasn't my first choice but it's the only one that I thought would hold 90 grains without being 5-6 inches long. It's 3 3/4. As with anything I do mistakes were made. The worst one is I broke the drill bit off in my first pilot hole but the knot on the leather thong will hide it. I thought about staining it until I remembered all antler tips are white. Plus the sanding and polishing brought out the age cracks. It may not seem like much to some but it's a big deal to me.
