What are some good loads with Power Pistol and 147 grain bullets in 9mm?
My reloading manuals aren't the newest, and don't have loads for Alliant Power Pistol.
The Alliant website has one load, but it is a maximum load. I would like to know what the lighter loads are, because I like to plink also. Thanks..

Reduce the load from Alliant 10% and work up. I've been loading Berry's 147gr RN using 5.3grs of HS-6 using Speer #13 as the guide.

CAUTION: The following post includes loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, The High Road, nor the staff of THR assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information.

Alliant, who makes Power Pistol, says 5.7 gr for 147 gr XTP bullets
Alliant 147 gr 9mm

I like 158 gr XTP 11 gr of Power Pistol factor crimped, RP primed brass, and resized when loaded to drop in the chamber. This kicks so bad [with stock recoil springs], one shot without gloves can make the shooting hand hurt for an hour.
