I'm getting ready to buy my 1st suppressor. The nearest dealer with a kiosk is 75 miles away. There is a Silencer shop dealer without a kiosk 20 miles away. Is it worth the drive to use the kiosk? Thanks in advance.

Maybe call them and see if they're doing eforms. If they are, it seems like silencer shop isn't as much of bargain anymore. You can roll you own prints, get a trust from national gun trust, and they can do the form 4 and send the prints in by mail. Maybe dogtowntom can chime in.

The only thing the kiosk can do that can't be done from your home is scan your fingerprints.
You can get free fingerprint cards from atf.gov, roll your own prints, mail to Silencer Shop.
Understand that Silencer Shop is not a retailer. While they let you choose a silencer, add to your cart with trust, accessories and a tax stamp.....YOU choose what dealer you want to receive that silencer. Each of the dealers on their website sets his own pricing....not Silencer Shop. Pricing can vary from $0 to over $200 difference.
Price is one factor, convenience is another. But also of concern is whether that dealer understands eForms and has experience with them. If he doesn't....find a dealer who does.

Thank you!

Huh?
eForms has nothing to do with whether a silencer is a bargain or not. And again, Silencer Shop doesn't control what pricing a dealer uses. If you don't think it a bargain, you chose the wrong Powered By Dealer.

You can roll you own prints,
True.

get a trust from national gun trust
Why on earth would you pay twice the price for an NFA trust?

and they can do the form 4 and send the prints in by mail.
While you can mail fingerprint cards direct to ATF, it adds time to your wait. Versus the instant upload of electronic prints.

Thanks for the reply, you are 100% correct. Went to a dealer with a kiosk, bought the suppressor from the dealer. Everything went smoothly.
