Greetings To All-

Its time to reflect on all of the "prayer request" and well wishes, that I ask THR
for during my late wifes (Charlotte) short illness battle. I wish to THANK all of those that expressed condolences, prayers, writings, well wishes, and etc. in the time of need. As you may know, she lost this battle on August 20th, of 2012. I have not been a contributor to THR much during this time of grief; but life must go on, therefore I'm back. Yes, I still grieve, but my Saviour Jesus Christ makes everyday a good day. Again, I THANK everyone here at THR for the rememberance; 43-1/2 yrs is a long time to be married to the same wonderful woman.

He truly is faithful to our needs and in answering our prayers Dan.
I will continue to pray for you that you will be able to continue to find your strength in Him.
Stand fast Dan in the fact that Jesus is your Saviour, your comforter and your salvation.
Allow Him to live thru you Dan and each and every day, from now until He takes you to His side, He will hold and bless you.

Welcome back and please accept my condolances for your loss. While it's hard to lose someone so special to us, it is truly a relief to know that the oft stated cliche "she's in a better place" really is true.

Continued prayers for you during this time of mourning.

God bless you Dan, and welcome back.

My heartfelt condolences on your loss. I've only been married for 27 years and cannot imagine life without her.

Welcome back Dan. I hope that a little more interaction amongst your old friends here helps you to continue healing.

Welcome back, and don't forget, because you are a brother in Christ there's a blessed reunion in your future!

43-1/2 years, praise God! Echoing Sport45, I have been married 20 years and can't imagine what you are going through. With four kids and a many blessings, only good things have come from my marriage. The Fruit of the Spirit is wonderful indeed.

Know that you are here for a reason, and that when your time ends here on earth, you will be reunited with your lovely wife.

Hello Dan,
I'm very sorry for your loss. Some things are truly out of our hands and we can't change them. I hope you can take solace in the 43 years of good times you had together, remember those times, and be thankful to God for all of those good times. And welcome back.

Welcome back, Dan, from another brother. My wife and I celebrate 30 years this year, and I can only imagine what it would be like learning to live without her. I have a close friend whose wife died of cancer two years ago; we spoke just today. Both he and his wife know/knew the Lord, his source of comfort. Blessings to you.

I'm very sorry for your loss, the next time I go to the range the first round is in rememberance and for you, my friend.
