99% of the steel mags are pre-ban (the exception being new production Korean mags). All Chinese drum mags are pre-ban.

Huh, I'd never thought of that. Makes sense though, having the former Warsaw Pact countries sell them off as they upgrade their rifles.

Since you're in NY, East German Weigar Mags are a good choice. They're easy to prove to be pre ban if/when you have to. East Germany ceased to be a country in 1990 which is an easy to point out fact.
