Pre-ban, Post-ban, Post Post-ban?

OK maybe I've missed it but I have some Q's about AR15 lowers. I have a pre ban Colt that I put a Bushy upper on that I was never real happy with because of the offset pins that has to be used to adapt to the Colt lower. I am gonna get a new lower for the Bushy upper and put the Colt in it's original configeration as a Sporter II.

What's the difference going to be in lowers after Sept.13. Just the markings removed (Civilian Use) or what? I know that I can't buy a new lower right now because it would be illegal to assemble a pre upper to a post lower, at least for the next 4 weeks.

Do I get a lower now and assemble after Sept. 14 and not worry about any markings? I plan on either a Bushmaster or a RRA. The RRA is cheaper by about $30-$40.

Sorry if this has been gone over before, but I couldn't get a match in the search function.

Post-sunset all non-NFA lowers should be equal regardless of markings. Full auto and burst lowers will still fall under the NFA, but we're not talking about those

Odds of the BATF busting you for having more post ban lowers than post ban uppers is going to basicly be nil seeing as they only prosecuted 4 people under the act over the last 10 years so it's probably pretty safe to go ahead and buy that lower now and assemble it after the ban.

Some people might like the "LEO only" markings for tacticality.

I went ahead and bought a post-ban AR-15 - sort of a "memorial" for the death of the Feinswine Ban. Let's never let it happen again.

ive got a friend of mine who has a brand spanking new Bushmaster XM15
(?) LOWER HE BOUGHT SOMETIME BACK FOR A PROJECT, BUT NEVER GOT AROUND TO USING IT. ITS STILL IN THE BOX AND BUBBLEWRAP.
