Great pics of great guns.

Here is my contribution. Did not have a 100 yard range available, only 25. But at 25 yards, my modified 10/22 would shoot 5 round, 1/2 MOA groups all day long.

Ruger 10/22 action, Green Mountain heavy taper barrel, Kidd 1 stage trigger, Boyd stock (painted)
5 shots

Working down the calibers of a few of my precision rigs. I'd actually love to jump on a Sharps or similar 45-70 or 45-110 one day. Love precision stuff and odd/old stuff.

Anschutz Superair 2001 10m .177 cal air rifle. People laugh at air rifles, but center ring is 0.200" diameter, pellets are 0.177" diameter. Not much room for error

Pb when you shoot slung in prone, people often manage to stick their muzzles in the dirt when coming out of position. I suspect that is one of several similar devices that protect the crowns of match rifles

Btw nice shooting cesium!

sure it isn't a hinged lid that keeps snow from going down the muzzle?

that or a special antenna for the 5 mhz illuminati band

Edit. You could be right there. On closer look it does appear to be built into the sight mount.

snow

Hey Pete, what is that angled thing on the end of that rifle for

It is a snow cap indeed. The cap also covers the muzzle end of the front aperture. You cannot see through the sight unless the cap has been pushed forward. There is also a smaller snow cap on the muzzle side of the rear sight to keep snow from collecting there during a race in a snow squall. You can see a bit of it just in front of and below the elevation knob.

some nice rifles guys! This is my most recent acquisition. A Tac21Chassis mounted on a RemXCR Tactical, factory barrelled action.

This was the first group fired from this Chassis (7 rounds). It suggests a good future in shooting! Now to stretch her out to & past 1000 yards to see what it can do! Hopefully it shoots as well as the factory stock did at extended distances.

Cesiumsponge, that's a nice 10/22. Looks just like the WA 2000 with a few minor differences. You don't see much mentioned about them.
