Well, long story short, I know exactly what I want in an AR-15. Bad news is, I think I might have to custom build it myself, especially the upper. (I've never done anything like this before.)
Even worse, I don't know if what I'm looking for even exists.
Anyhow, here are some specifics on the upper receiver...
16" barrel, chrome lined, mid-length gas system, A1-profile, mid-length A1 triangular handguards.
A1 upper, no foward assist, with or without brass deflector.
Does anyone make such a beast already put together and headspaced, or would I have to go to a custom shop? Could a custom shop even do this? And if so, about how much would it be?
