Price check on Kimber Eclipse

I saw a used Kimber eclipse custom 2 on display for 900. It seems to be in good condition, just a faint scratch on the slide, almost can't see it. Other wear marks that are typical of a used 1911. Comes with original box and papers. And 4 mags.

I noticed that the previous owner did some gunsmithing on it. It looks like he put in a ed brown grip safety, magwell, and ambi safety. It looks great.

The thing is, I can get a new eclipse (at the same store) for about a grand less taxes, is the used Kimber worth it?

Thanks, seemed high for a used gun, gunsmithing or no. Can't beat the feeling of getting a new gun.

I carry a Kimber Pro CDP. Stay up on what they are selling for used & that is quite a bit tooooo high.
