went looking for my first wheel gun, found 2 revolvers both new, a Rossi 2" .357 in stainless for $318 and a Taurus 2" in blue for $360. these prices average/low/high? i cant find MSRP on either as Rossi's website dosent list their revolvers, and the Taurus is a six shot and they only show five and seven shot models.

Most likley will catch $%$(*& for this but here it goes for the same money you can get a used Smith or Ruger I've owned one Rossi .38 spcl and have had the luxury of shooting a Tarus I believe was called a Raging Bull? It was belongs to a buddy of mine it locked up on me while I was shooting it with his ammo, another freind has a Baretta 92 Tarus clone firing pin battered shut.
For the difference in pricing stay with the known reliable manufacturers . Rossi MDL 462 2" stanless lists in 2008 Standard Catalog of Firearms for $350. I'd have to know the Mdl of the Tarus as ther are so many. If you shop hard you could beat those prices.
