In early nieve loading daze, did ladder using only SPMP, bc published data didn't specify! And cartridge is 'MAGNUM'!!!! IKR!!!! Was OK, but w/ H110 got some very high fps, but no high pressure signs. This was S&W mod 66 4" barrel. Used 2400, Unique, H110, & Titegroup; 158 gr GDHP. Hope this helps.

be carful using pistol primers in an ar or any other semi auto rifle with a floating firing pin. the steel on the pistol primers are not as thick as rifle primers you may get slam fires.
Yes, I've heard this before. IIRC SRP's are .020" cup and the NATO 5.56 specific cups are .022"
Was asking because I have a couple of bolt 300BO's I'd like to load up without exhausting my remaining SRP's.

I use SPM for h110 in 357 mag. Sometimes have used it for 2400 but it's not needed there. It might not be needed with H110 but it's specified in the data I have. Where SPM primers may be needed, is during cold weather. I've been known to shoot in the cold, rarely however in the heat of summer.
