to be honest

I didn't read the whole thread as this subject has been beaten to death with a large stick, there isn't even a corpse, just some red ooze.

I really doubt that LE could care less what bumper sticker is on yer car.
All they wan't (imo) is license and registration.

I plaster bumper stickers and fake bullet holes, if ya don't like em, don't look!

as far as some one trying to steal them?

I have a car gun and my truck was broken into and they didn't find it
I keep in in used napkins strewn about the garbage in the passenger side:neener:

The only people who even look at bumper stickers are other bumper sticker ppl anyway, ...in Reno there are far more GW & NRA stickers the Kerry/edawrds save the bleeding heart whales for hillary stivckers

btw

it seems as most folks I meet with NRA stickers don't even have a gun!
Their uncle/father in law gave them the sticker.

I can't argue with those that refrain from displaying bumper stickers to avoid attracting unwanted attention. However, one bumper sticker just "called" to me and I put it on the Jeep. It has a bright yellow background, the text in bold black letters reads:

Fight Crime
Shoot Back

When my wife decided she wanted the Jeep instead of her Olsmobile I just handed her the keys (she wanted the heated leather seats for winter).

At first she wanted me to take the bumper sticker off the Jeep. She works at a hospital and was afraid of negative feedback. I convinced her to leave it on, promising to remove it immediately if it caused trouble. It's still there three years later.

Every comment she's ever received about it has been positive. In fact, one of her co-workers asked where she could get one for her own car. We gave her one, because I'd bought two and saved one. Fortunately, the backing paper was an order form for more stickers, because the store didn't carry them anymore. I ordered a dozen as "spares".

For those who might be interested, they can be purchased mail order from:
Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms
Liberty Park
12500 Northeast Tenth Place
Bellevue, Washington, 98005
(425) 454-4911

Stickers are $1 each, 6 for $5, 25 for $15 and 100 for $40 (plus $1 for shipping & handling).

According to the label on the sticker I have, they also offer the following:

A lady with a gun has more fun

A man with a gun has more fun

An armed society is a police society

Crime control not gun control

Criminals prefer unarmed victims

Gun control is a steady hand

Guns don't kill people people kill people

I am a gun owner and I vote!

If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns

I {heart} gun shows

Register criminals not firearms

Soft judges make hardened criminals

Support your right to bear arms

The second ammendment ain't about duck hunting

Don't let Clinton Gore your gun rights

American armed and free

Insured by the second ammendment

I have no business relationship with them other than as a happy customer
