I can't argue with those that refrain from displaying bumper stickers to avoid attracting unwanted attention. However, one bumper sticker just "called" to me and I put it on the Jeep. It has a bright yellow background, the text in bold black letters reads:
Fight Crime
Shoot Back
When my wife decided she wanted the Jeep instead of her Olsmobile I just handed her the keys (she wanted the heated leather seats for winter).
At first she wanted me to take the bumper sticker off the Jeep. She works at a hospital and was afraid of negative feedback. I convinced her to leave it on, promising to remove it immediately if it caused trouble. It's still there three years later.
Every comment she's ever received about it has been positive. In fact, one of her co-workers asked where she could get one for her own car. We gave her one, because I'd bought two and saved one. Fortunately, the backing paper was an order form for more stickers, because the store didn't carry them anymore. I ordered a dozen as "spares".
