So, I'm looking around for info and reviews on Trail Boss, as everything I've read here about it makes me think that as a soon-to-be newbie reloader, it's pretty ideal for what I'm trying to do (low-recoil .38 Special target loads).
Now, I know that gunpowder is measured in grains, and there are 7,000 grains/lb. I found a review of Trail Boss on Gunblast this afternoon, and in the article, it was noted that since TB is so fluffy, there's actually only about 9oz. worth in each 1lb. container.
Now, the dumb question - does this mean that in a 1lb. bottle of TB there are less than 7,000 grains? Or is the grain count still the same, it's simply the weight that's different?
Thanks!
