I was screwing around with my bolt, I know that's the first sign of trouble, and I rotated the back end, the shroud I guess, almost one complete turn. I heard a click and now the firing pin is fully extended, the handle is locked down and I can't get the bolt back in the rifle. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

Not a clue which Browning you have.

But it almost certainly has a cocking piece sear projecting down out of the bolt sleeve.

What you need to do is catch the sear on the edge of a workbench or something and pull it back to the cocked position.

Once there, find the bolt lock plunger on the bolt sleeve, depress it, and turn the whole assemble back to where the cocking piece is resting on the back of the cocking cam in the bolt again.

And then, Don't do that again!

It's a Browning Eurobolt. I've attached some pictures below. If you can show me how to fix this, I PROMISE to never do it again!

I understand it now. Thanks rcmodel. I'll get it done. Probably use a vice to hold the cocking piece.

Looks to have a hole in the bottom of the cocking piece to stick a proper size punch or drill bit shank in and pull it back.
