I went to the range and shot a few guns, including a range Glock 19. I plan on getting a Glock and have 2 older high capacity magazines that I brought with me. On the new 10 round and on one of my high capacity mags, it holds the slide open after the last round. On my second mag, the slide goes forward after the last shot.
I made a physical inspection of the magazine in question against a fully functioning one and it seems to look the same. I took it apart and cleaned it but it still malfunctions. The RO said I have some real old mags that don't even have the button underneath to dissassemble them. The baseplate just slides off (with some pressure)
Any ideas? Should I order a new follower or spring? Does Glock give away their new follower for malfunctioning magazines?
