Recently purchased a Lone Wolf g34 barrel/slide to go with a Lone Wolf full size frame. It has an adjustable trigger which if its adjusted too much, the mechanism locks up and you cant get the slide off. So guess what happened?

Slides stuck on the frame, typical take down routine allows the slide to go about 3/4" forward before it stops. Found a quick blurb on the net saying to lock the slide back, remove back plate and firing pin and that should allow the slide to come off, adjustment screw then can be backed out and all should be good. I removed the back plate and firing pin but still no go. Anyone deal with this before? Any advice on how to proceed?

Thanks in advance.

edit- Well I finally got it off. Backed out the screw and reassembled and am having the same issue. It looks like the guide rod is slipping off the notch in the barrel. I can peek through the gap in the frame and the slide and it looks like the guide rod is slanted down in the back rather than being parallel with the slide.
