Problem with new 17 rd mag for G17

Just got a "new" 17 rounder for my Glock 17...while loading it the other night a weird thing happened...2 rounds got stuck in the mag side by side and the spring was stuck..so I couldn't load it or use it obviously.I ended up taking the butt plate off and had to pry the rounds out.it seemed to work fine after that,but I noticed it would rattle sometimes after I would load about 10 rounds...Should I return this mag or test it more(going to the range tomarrow).Anybody ever have this happen to them.Was it just bad luck or a bad magazine??thanks

A lot of mags rattle. About the only thing you could do is take the mag apart and buff the tube good, then maybe use a Clorox teflon wipe or something on it.

I saw the same thing happen with a Glock ten round mag. The rounds got stuck in the middle of the mag, they had to be pushed out with a cleaning rod. I think that the problem is caused by an out of spec mag tube. I would return it if I were you.
