The priming device has a flip tray mounted to it. I assume you dump them into the tray and then use the machine. You could check them like normal in the flip tray. I only inspect my match ammo primers anyway.
The Frankford Arsenal device uses a tray with a clear plastic top. You don't put the top on until the primers are all anvil-up. I don't bother to do any inspecting, but it'd be pretty easy to do if one so desired. You don't flip the primers with the Frankford filler device.
