Do as many people as I think have shoeboxes full of holsters? I've heard of people having literally several boxes of holsters...I can't imagine keeping something around I wouldn't use. Sup wit dat???

THen again, I've never missed a gun that I sold, even if I liked them... :uhoh: (heartless b@$T@**!!)

I have quite a few holsters, only one box full. Most of them I use for something, even if only occasionally. The only one I bought I really didn't like was the fobus; I save it for a loaner when I take people shooting.

I miss the guns I sold. I haven't sold more than two holsters.

SHOE box??? Only if y'all got feets like Godzilla  I have enough hide for just my J Frames to recover a herd of cows, and a small pony:D

Maybe half a shoebox full. It's just stuff you accumulate over time, like a 7/8" scope I have (where the heck do you get 7/8" rings?), a compensator made back in the fifties someone gave me, parts I can't remember where they came from, you know, just stuff.

Without stuff, the shoeboxes would be empty.

A shoebox and then some

For my Taurus snubby I have my Hume IWB and a pocket holster I bought at the last gunshow, both of these I actually use. Then there's...

The pocket holster I made from an old wallet.

The kydex paddle holster I bought with the Taurus. Great holster, not so great for CCW.

The Uncle Mike's IWB that I used until I bought the Hume, danged thing lasted 5 years with only one hole to show for it.

The Uncle Mike's Shoulder rig, used only when The Wife and I are playing FBI Agent staked out in the lonely housewife's kitchen. (I look pretty good in that apron)

A left handed Uncle Mike's IWB for holding my NY reload.

Jeez, just looked in there and I have 5 holsters for guns I no longer own and 2 for a gun I've never owned. Looks like it's time for a yard sale.

LMAO

Just one holster for the Valtro ( Tucker Gun Leather ) and one for the Glock ( G-Code ). My holster collection is simple, so far.

It's not the holsters. It's all the accessories for the military rifles I have. Bayonets, frogs, mags, mag pouches, slings and a few holsters I'll never use up here.

Skunk...

If you only have a shoebox full of holsters, you just aren't trying hard enough. My one buscadero rig for my Vaqueros won't even fit in a shoebox; it's coiled up on the same bookshelf as my Roman legionary's helmet and my Pro-Tec with Bolle Commando goggles (also, all my .45 and 10mm moonclips are up there, but that's beside the point...)

No...me been too cheap to buy all the holsters I've wanted to try. I've bought holsters (mostly nylon) that have fit many diff't guns. Shoebox...well maybe, but it's certainly not anywhere near full ;)

Southpaw, there isnt a chance there is an Astra or a Kahr K series, or a SIG 239 holster in that tub anywhere is there?

I may be willing to buy it.

I think I've killed

as many cows as McDonalds just for thier hides.

Heck, just for palin clothes cary (I'm LE) I have three identical slide and three identical thumb break galco's for my G23. Why three identical you ask, well being the fashion plate I am, I've got one of each in black, tan, and cuban- so they can match the belt and shoes I'm wearing. You have to coordinate. ;)

Ive got the same set-up for my G22, AND my 27. You just never know what you will need.

Don't even want to think about how many 1911 holsters I have.

I even bought a couple holster for my NAA mini revolver. Now if thats not a gun you should just carry in your pocket- then there isn't one.

Let's see.... for each handgun I own there is a ....

Belt holster
Paddle Holster
Shoulder holster
Pocket Holster (actually I am short 1 pocket holster)

I'll use 'em ALL eventually...for something... honest. ;)

-and I forgot the holster's I didn't like and replaced with the same kind but I need to keep them in case the "replacement" is damaged or lost!!! :what:

Parhaps what we need here is a used holster exchange??

Never have better words been said. I have this VERY large plastic
container full of holster that I don't use. I have a small five drawer dresser for the ones I use. Being a cheap S*B I cruise the boards looking for holsters. If it is a maker or style I want to try I buy it for about 1/2 the price and try it. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Sorta like my on again off again affair with IWB's....:cuss:

I'm working on filling that shoebox! So far, I have three holsters that just don't work for me....but even knowing that they wouldn't work wasn't enough to stop me from buying them. Nothing expensive but they pile grows.

Gotta love this hobby!

I actually have much fewer holsters than handguns. So I am strongly going against the flow.

I only have 6 holsters... one for each of six handguns. One holster, an Ankle Holster for the Makarov, I have never used. And all cost less than $25.

I want to order a High Noon holster or some other nice one. Just haven't gotten around to it...
