Getting my new PSL today and I'd like a more powerful scope. Does anyone know if it would be better to get a "one-peice" psop scope and mount that is jsut more powerful or could I get one of the "sks/svd" mounts and put any scope on it and it would be just as reliable? Any specific recommendations for a mount? Thanks!

As long as the scope is reliable, then that would work. But there are some very rugged Combloc scopes out there that will do just fine, too. The problem is they can be pricey.

I have a 8X PSOP Fixed Power on my Saiga 308. I love it.

In the future, however, I will probably get the low-profile weaver siderail mount for my Saiga 308. But I'll not deviate from the PSOP's. I want to put that new 3x9x 42 objective PSOP on it. They have a model at Kalinka that will attach to a weaver mount.

Come to think of it, I'd like one of those on ALL my rifles. :)

+1 on the POSPs. I've got two, a 4x fixed side mount for my Saiga and a Weaver 2.5x5 mounted on my FAL. They are awesome.
