OK, I finally got my new PT145 out to the range today and fed it 150 rounds of WWB hard nose bullets. It functioned flawlessly and is an absolute blast to shoot. I was surprised at how little this gun actually kicked. It weighs significantly less than my Ruger P90, but it didn't seem to kick any more.

I will say that the straight-8 sites will take some getting use to. I was shooting a consistent 3-4" low at 7 yards, until I adjusted the hold and then I got great groups. Instead of making a "snowman" with the sights, I have to hold the front dot a little above the rear dot. Now that I am familiar with the hold, it should not be a problem.

I shot a lot of rapid fire exercises and never had a problem keeping it on target. The gun felt good in my hands and I am absolutely confident in it. It will be my CCW in a few weeks.

So, I am very pleased with the pistol. It was an absolute bargain at $340.
